Statement of Faith
- God
We believe in one eternal God who exists in perfect unity as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer of all things, sovereign over time and eternity. In His triune nature, He reveals Himself as the loving Father, the incarnate Son, and the empowering Spirit, distinct in role yet one in essence. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14) - The Trinity
We believe in the one true God who exists eternally in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal, co-eternal, and of one essence, yet distinct in their roles. The Father is the Creator and Sovereign Ruler, the Son is the Redeemer who became incarnate, and the Holy Spirit is the Sanctifier who indwells believers. The mystery of the Trinity is at the heart of our faith and the revelation of God’s saving work in the world. (Matthew 28:19; John 1:1-3; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 14:16-17) - The Father
We believe that God the Father is the Almighty Creator of heaven and earth, sovereign over all creation. In His love and providence, He sustains the universe and calls all people to Himself. Through Jesus Christ, the Father adopts believers into His family, making them His children and heirs. (Genesis 1:1; Matthew 6:9; John 1:12; Ephesians 1:3-5) - Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who became fully human while remaining fully divine. Born of the Virgin Mary through the Holy Spirit, He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a sacrifice for the sins of humanity, and rose bodily from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father, interceding for believers. He will return in glory to judge the living and the dead and to establish His eternal kingdom. (John 1:1, 14; Philippians 2:5-11; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:9-11) - The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates and sanctifies believers, and empowers them for holy living. The Spirit indwells all who have placed their faith in Christ, providing them with gifts for service, leading them into all truth, and guiding them in the ways of righteousness. (John 16:7-13; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; Ephesians 1:13) - The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God, fully trustworthy and without error in its original manuscripts. It is the supreme authority for all matters of faith and life, revealing God's will and guiding believers in their walk with Him. Through the Scriptures, God speaks to all generations, offering the truth needed for salvation, sanctification, and spiritual growth. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 119:105) - Humanity
We believe that humanity was created in the image of God, designed for relationship with Him and to reflect His character. However, through sin, humanity fell from this intended state, becoming separated from God and subject to death. In this fallen condition, all people are in need of redemption and reconciliation through Jesus Christ. (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1-3) - Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. It cannot be earned by human effort or merit but is freely given to all who believe. Through Christ’s atoning death and resurrection, believers are justified, forgiven, and adopted into God’s family. Salvation is an ongoing process of transformation, leading to eternal life with God. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-10; 2 Corinthians 5:17) - The Sacraments
We believe that Jesus Christ instituted two sacraments: baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Baptism is an outward sign of inward faith, symbolizing the believer's identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. It is both a public declaration of faith and a necessary step of obedience for those who are able to receive it. While salvation is by grace through faith, baptism serves as a testimony to God's work in the believer’s life. The Lord’s Supper is a remembrance of Christ’s atoning sacrifice and a proclamation of His death until He returns. Both sacraments are means of grace through which the believer experiences the presence of Christ and grows in communion with Him. (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3-4; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26) - The Church
We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, composed of all who have been united with Him through faith. The Church exists to glorify God through worship, discipleship, fellowship, and mission. Every believer is called to participate in the life of the Church, using their gifts to serve one another and to proclaim the Gospel to the world. The local church is an expression of the universal Body, gathering for worship, teaching, and mutual edification. (1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Ephesians 4:1-6; Hebrews 10:25) - Eternal Life
We believe in the resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. Those who have trusted in Christ will be raised to eternal life in the presence of God, while those who have rejected Him will face eternal separation from Him. Heaven and Hell are real, eternal destinations. The hope of eternal life motivates believers to live in faithfulness, anticipating the return of Christ and the restoration of all things. (John 3:16; Matthew 25:46; Revelation 20:11-15) - The Mission
We believe that the Church is commissioned by Christ to share the Gospel with the world and to make disciples of all nations. Every believer is called to participate in this mission, proclaiming the Good News of salvation through word and deed. The Great Commission remains central to the life of the Church until Christ returns in glory. (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; 2 Corinthians 5:18-20) - The Return of Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ will return personally, visibly, and gloriously to establish His eternal Kingdom. On that day, He will judge the living and the dead, defeat all evil, and restore creation. The return of Christ is the blessed hope of the Church and the fulfillment of God's redemptive plan. (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 21:1-4) - The New Creation
We believe that God will ultimately bring about a new creation, where heaven and earth will be united, and believers will dwell with Him forever in perfect fellowship. This new creation will be free from sin, suffering, and death, fully reflecting God's glory and His purposes for His people. The promise of a new creation gives hope and assurance to believers, motivating them to live in anticipation of this glorious future. (Isaiah 65:17; Revelation 21:1-5; 2 Peter 3:13)
